Kenneth A. Tillotson is an attorney in the Litigation Department and member of the Firm's Family Law practice group. He has been representing both individuals and companies for more than 12 years throughout Oklahoma in both complex commercial litigation and family law matters.
While in law school, Kenneth was a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. Kenneth also received American Jurisprudence Awards in Trial Techniques, Civil Pre-trial Litigation and Property. In 2004, he was requested to participate in and completed the University of Oklahoma's Graduate School of Successful Trial Advocacy. In addition, Kenneth was selected by Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" in 2010-2011. He is an active member of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg American Inn of Court and The Family Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
Kenneth balances his practice between business litigation and family law. His litigation practice has included successfully defending clients in a range of complex federal and state litigation matters, including business and commercial litigation, medical malpractice, railroad litigation, product liability, insurance disputes, personal injury claims, appellate work, and arbitration. He has appeared before the Oklahoma Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma, as well as the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.
Kenneth's practice in the area of Family Law includes such areas as divorce, child custody, child visitation, alimony, child support, property division, division of retirement benefits, tax consequences of divorce, paternity, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, grandparent's rights, domestic violence and post-decree modification of child custody, child support and support alimony. He appears before the Courts throughout Oklahoma to defend the rights of his clients.
Born in Lawton, Oklahoma, Kenneth was raised in the Tulsa area. He met his wife, Susan, in college at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and has been married to her since 1999. They have two children who keep them watching little league baseball, basketball, soccer and gymnastics every weekend. He and his family are active members of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City. In addition to spending time with his family, Kenneth enjoys watching Oklahoma sports, traveling and reading.
