Biography

Andrew S. Mildren is an attorney in the Business Department and a member of the Firm’s Real Estate, Alternative "Green" Energy and Tribal practice groups. With an emphasis on real estate, he represents individuals and both privately-held and public companies in a variety of transactional matters.

In addition to complex commercial real estate projects, Drew's law practice includes representing clients before regulatory bodies and the State Legislature in one of the largest Governmental and Administrative Law practices in Oklahoma.

His accomplishments are many and have been recognized accordingly. Drew was named to Best Lawyers in America (administrative / regulatory law and governmental relations practice), as well as Oklahoma's Super Lawyers' list of "Rising Stars" (business/corporate and real estate), which recognizes the state's top up-and-coming attorneys. He was also named to Oklahoma’s list of top Achievers Under 40 and received the Journal Record's Leadership in Law award—both in the same year (2012).

Born in Dallas and raised in Oklahoma City, Drew lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, Caroline, and their two daughters, Ellie and Olivia. In his free time, he enjoys sports and spending time with his family and their dog, Murphy.

Representative Experience

  • Represents businesses and individuals in various phases of real estate development, including:
  • sales and acquisitions of unimproved and improved real property,
  • title and survey review,
  • regulatory and land use issues, and
  • financing, construction and leasing.
  • Represents large national retailer in lease negotiations.
  • Represents numerous businesses and individuals before regulatory bodies in licensing and other matters.
  • Representation of landlords and tenants in all aspects of commercial leasing transactions.
  • Represents businesses and individuals in asset sales and purchases, stock sales and purchases, and other merger and acquisition transactions.
  • Represents local financial institutions in drafting, due diligence and processing of multimillion-dollar commercial financing transactions.
  • Actively represents corporate clients in resolution of various day-to-day corporate governance issues.
  • Assists in the administration of state government pension plans for clients that include the Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System; the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Retirement System; and the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System.
