V. Glenn Coffee is an attorney in the Business Department and a member of the Firm’s High Technology practice group. He represents individuals and both privately-held and public companies in a wide range of transactional matters.
Glenn has served in the Oklahoma Legislature as a State Senator since 1998. In 2008, he was elected as Oklahoma’s first Republican President Pro Tempore of the Senate. While in the Senate, Glenn has passed legislation to better protect the public against sex offenders and to end inconvenient and outdated requirements on vehicle inspections. He has also helped protect Oklahoma consumers by passing legislation to help them fight back against unwanted computer spam. Other legislative accomplishments include the Clean Campaigns Act of 2008 and Oklahoma's constitutional amendment to protect hunting and fishing rights.
Glenn received Northeastern State University’s Citation of Merit, Young Alumnus Award, and was selected for membership in Durocher’s “Forty Under 40” in 2003. In 2006, he was selected for the Journal Record’s “Forty Under 40” honor.
Born in Lubbock, Texas, Glenn lives in Oklahoma City with his wife and their four children.
